Learning Support
The Drop-in Study Center provides free, on-demand group tutoring in over twenty classes throughout the semester. No appointment needed!
- PAL Study Groups meet weekly to study course material with classmates and a PAL Leader. PAL session activities challenge you to deepen your understanding so that you’re ready for exams when they come around.
- The OASUS Testing Center offers an equitable testing environment for students with accessibility needs who are enrolled in our in our partner courses.
- Workshops & Learning Resources – OASUS offers workshops on key academic skills and resources to enhance course-specific learning.
The Whitten Peer Educator Development Program
The OASUS Peer Educator Development Program cultivates a vibrant community of practice among peer educators at Rice through professional development, employment, and networking opportunities.
Employment Opportunities
OASUS employs Rice students in the following roles: Drop-in Study Peer Educators and Managers, PAL Leaders, Lead Peer Educators, Testing Center Check-in Coordinators and Proctors, and Marketing Coordinator. We work to provide development and leadership opportunities for all our student employees.
