The vision of the OASUS is to ensure that every Rice undergraduate is able to pursue, progress through, and achieve their academic goals. In order to achieve this vision, we work closely with faculty and existing student support offices to bring evidence-based learning support practices to all Rice students and cultivate a culture of help-seeking and collaborative learning across campus.
Learning Support
- Drop-in Study - On-demand group tutoring for over twenty courses.
- PAL Groups - Weekly structured study groups for students enrolled in the same course.
- Testing Center - Opening Spring 2025, the testing center will provide accessible space for students who need alternative testing arrangements to demonstrate their knowledge and skills.
Employment Opportunities
Peer Educator Program - Our peer educators and Drop-in Study managers develop tutoring and leadership skills and contribute to a dynamic learning community at Rice.
