The Testing Center currently works on a course-based model, by which faculty opt in to partnership with us. In this arrangement, the students enrolled in a class are able to schedule and complete exams at the Testing Center for that course once the instructor has completed a form outlining their exam parameters and uploaded testing materials through the faculty portal. Students’ completed exams will be uploaded and made available to their instructors on the day they are taken.
If you would like to work with us to provide your students access to the Testing Center, please complete the form below. For Fall semester courses, we will begin contacting faculty partners in April; in November for Spring semester courses. While we seek to serve as many students as possible, our capacity is limited by space.

Syllabus language
This Spring, students who have registered accommodations with the Disability Resource Center will have the opportunity to take their [COURSE] exams at the OASUS Testing Center. Students can schedule their exam by selecting the “Alternative Testing” option in their AIM portal. More information is available on the OASUS Testing Center website, and detailed instructions can be found on this document: Testing Center Procedures - Students.
Academic accommodations work to ensure that all students are able to access learning and testing environments equitably. Testing accommodations adjust the testing environment for students with disabilities in order to offer an equitable experience. If you’re unsure if you are eligible for accommodations, please contact the Disability Resource Center as soon as possible, ada@rice.edu.
Completing the Alternative Testing Agreement
The Alternative Testing Agreement is a form that establishes the parameters for your students when they test in the Center. The form gives us information about the format of your exams, students’ access to additional materials and other information. You will receive an email prompting you to complete the form in week two of the semester; it can also be accessed via the instructor portal of our alternative testing management platform.
